l gear pump Trouble and Maintenance The mainly troubleshooting and failure about pump presents in Table 2-1. Table 2-1 Troubleshooting Serial No. Failure Failure reasons Solutions 1 No delivery or inefficient discharge Exterior elements: Motor stick; motor reversal; Sliding V belt; no oil in tank; pipe jammed; Check motor and its wiring; tighten V belt; inspect tank; dredge pipeline. Gear being stuck Clean waste in pump chamber Waste in outlet of overflow valve Disconnect overflow valve lid and clean waste; Leakage on valve Check oil groove Overweary gear or bearing Replace gears or bearing 2 Large noise or tremble Exterior reasons: Too long horizontal distance between fuel dispenser and tank; many elbow on inlet pipe; waste jam pipe; small diameter of pipe Dealt with in design and construction Intensive pressure Decrease thickness of pressured ring Overflow valve is stuck Clean waste and burr Overweary gear or bearing Replace gears or bearing 3 Inner leakage Overweary gears Replace gears Leakage on frame seal Frame seal disabled Repla fuel dispenser ce frame seal Leakage on pump body or joint face O-ring disabled Substitute seal ring 2.5 Important notices in operation Often inspect the rotation of pump axis, leakage, abnormal noise, vibration on V wheel and lose bolt that tight pump key. Regularly clean strainer. The tightness of V wheel should be appropriate, neither too tight nor too loose. These V wheels of motor, pump and adjusting driven wheel should be in parallel level. Don’t adjusting overflow valve spring too tights in case that result in high pressure of hydraulic system, increase noise and vibration so as to enhance pump abrasion. Prohibit suck water or oil with much water. Strictly abide by the operation requirements on explosive atmosphere. Submersible pump In China fil fuel dispenser ing stations recently begin to adopt submersible pump as the power resource of fuel dispenser. Submersible pump gen fuel dispenser

in the next few weeks. On January 3rd, Antonio Maldonado, a Peruvian anti- corruption prosecutor, delivered an extradition request, backed by 10,000 pages of evidence. Along with these came a plea to deny Mr Fujimori bail while his extradition case is considered, which will be many months. Chile prides itself on applying the rule of law more rigorously than its neighbours. Its courts do not lightly extradite they have approved just ten of Wanted in Peru 38 requests over the past decade, says Mr Maldonado. Among those who have escaped extradition are Carlos Menem, a former president of Argentina, and Eduardo Calmell del Solar, a Peruvian newspaper owner accused of taking bribes from Vladimiro Montesinos, Mr Fujimori s corrupt spy chief. Chile and Peru signed an extradition treaty in 1932. But to get his man, Mr Maldonado must offer evidence against Mr Fujimori sufficient to justify his indictment under Chilean law for a serious crime that was not political. In Mr Calmell del Solar s case, Chile s Supreme Court ruled that the charges did not fuel dispenser amount to a crime under Chilean law. The case against Mr Fujimori is weightier—and Peru s prosecutors have done more homework. The most serious charges involve the murders of 15 people at a barbecue in Lima and of ten people from a teacher- training college in the early 1990s during a “dirty waragainst the Shining Path terrorist group. The murders were the work of an army death-squad, whose operations Mr Fujimori is accused of knowing about and doing nothing to stop. He is also accused of giving a $15m pay-off to Mr Montesinos, authorising illegal phone tapping, bribing opposition legislators and stealing Japanese donations intended for Peru s poor. Mr Fujimori may have expected similar treatment to Mr Menem s. But the Argentine faced only corruption ch fuel dispenser arges, and of lesser magnitude. On Mr Fujimori s watch, Mr Montesinos organised a vast web of bribery and exto fuel dispenser
